Hank Nicholson, CFP
Hank moved to Boulder in 1987 to attend the University of Colorado… and he never left. Then in 2020 when the pandemic broke out, Hank started spending more time in Crested Butte. Today, Hank splits his time between Boulder and Crested Butte, serving clients in both communities.
In addition to advising clients, Hank is also the chief investment officer and the founder of SilverPeak Wealth. Prior to starting SilverPeak in 2014, Hank was a partner and chief investment officer at another local wealth management firm where he oversaw $250 million of client portfolios.
Over the past 30 years, Hank has helped guide clients, and other advisors, through good times, as well as turbulent, uncertain times, knowing that opportunities exist in every market environment.
Hank’s approach to investing and helping clients is straightforward:

- Take a disciplined long-term view and don’t get distracted by shiny new things.

Outside of work Hank enjoys golf, hiking, fishing, and rafting. Hank keeps his body in shape with Crossfit, which he started doing in 2010. And Hank keeps his mind in shape with a daily meditation practice.

Hands down, summer with the family in Crested Butte. We love to hike, enjoy the wildflowers, river raft, and enjoy the cool summer evenings riding our cruiser bikes around town. Great times. Great memories.
