During the first several weeks of 2016, the stock market lost nearly 10%. Since that time, the market has reversed higher and gained roughly 12%. Trying to understand why the stock market has been so erratic this year is difficult, but this video does a good job of framing market volatility so that we, as long-term investors, can hopefully become more comfortable with the inevitable ups and downs.
